My 908 has a bit of bleed though but not that bad, at start I just thought that it was normal but not sure now

ede65, Do you have the 905 or the 908?.  I did try adjusting the settings from auto to manual with different settings and it is the same.  I also notice it when starting up the unit when the Maxisys Logo is displayed.  I didn't have the charger hooked up, so I don't think it is a power problem.

delloneill,  did you try it with the unit shutdown and charger hooked up, then hit the power button quickly to see the battery symbol in the middle of the screen.  The picture I posted was from that screen. Most importantly it is only noticeable in dim lighting. I will try to take one with the unit at startup so we can compare.

First picture is at first boot-up and the second picture is after the auto brightness turns on.

@Dave08902 just charging it now as it is the same as yours, it has a bit of bleed though in the corners of the screen, but i'm not worried about it because yours on mine are the same it probably suppose to be like that, we would need anyone on here with a 908 to see what there is like

I have the 905 and i do not see that on mine but i went to see a friend who just bought one a 908 and and his does the same but you only notice this in dark places or when not a lot of light around it so I think certain amount of bleed could b normal

Thanks a lot ede65. I guess the 905 has a different type of screen. it is good to know that this is normal for the unit. I didn't really want to send it in for repair. I feel much better now and thanks for your time and effort.

     Email response from Tech Support:

    Good Day,

Sorry for the long reply. Per word by word, This is what my engineer has said. "I have checked with our Hardware engineer. It is normal to have the edge backlight bleed more or less.  I have checked my tool in a dark room and I can see the same phenomenon as well, as long as the bleed is not serious ."
